Recently I was contacted to help out at a West Indian wedding.  Just for the getting-ready pictures of the Groom.  Two days, about 3 hours each day.  Arvin and his family are wonderful people who really make you feel welcome in their home.  Here are some of the pictures of himself and his family as they got ready on two separate days, before they left for the Hindu ceremony.

I finally updated my blog to Bigger pictures. I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time but due to some technical issues haven’t done so. In photography, bigger is better, at least for viewing pictures. I always enjoy viewing my favourite photographers images in as large size as possible. I once even emailed Jose Villa to complain that while his pictures were amazing to view, they were too small.  For me, at least.

Here are two pictures I took of Nanna with my Canon 45mm Tilt Shift lens near Avenue and St.Clair in Toronto.  I just can’t get enough of this lens 😀

This Couples photoshoot at Edwards Gardens on July 21st, 2011 turned out to be one of the hottest days ever in Toronto.  Temperatures hit  37.9°C (100.22 °F) which felt like 49°C with the humidity.  Not the best time for portrait photography but this did not deter any of us, however.  We had a fantastic time and the heat did not melt or suffocate the great chemisty this couple has.  They are two of the nicest people you can ever meet.  Anthony is a part of the U.S. Air Force and had been deployed in the Middle East prior to this day, while Maniesha works in downtown Toronto.  And even though they had been apart for a little while, the love they shared for each other was clearly evident!

On a very hot and beautiful day in July, 5-month old David received his Baptism.  This little fella was a good trooper.  He didn’t cry at all and was very interested in my camera equipment, being curious about the shutter sound of my Canon 5D and 5DII.  We took some photos with his family as he was getting ready at home and then a few at St. Mary’s Church in Toronto.  Afterwards we had a Reception Dinner at Lambton Golf Course that featured delicious food and of course a few more photos.  Surrounded by his loving parents and his 4-yr old sister, David is blessed indeed.

Enjoy the photos.
