Louis contacted me to document a surprise proposal to his girlfriend, Yoon. We met at Old Mill Spa & Inn in the west side of Toronto and began by taking some photos. He told Yoon that as it was their dating anniversary, they would have some photos and then have a nice dinner. By the river Louis gave Yoon a card with some words written on it. He then got down on his knee and proposed, catching Yoon off guard and definitely surprising her. She said yes 🙂 Congratulations, guys. Thanks for having me take your photos.
Most of these photos were taken with my Canon 5D Mark II digital camera with the Canon 24mm f1.4 & Canon 50mm f1.4 lenses. I did manage to also shoot a 35mm roll on my Contax G2 using Kodak Portra 800 film. Scanned by The Find Lab. Here are some photos from that session.
