On a chilly and overcast November day, I had the pleasure of taking engagement photos for Laura and Jeremy. We had postponed from the week before which had rain all day and a couple of other days due to bad weather. You probably can’t tell from the pictures, but it was only about 3-4 degreec C. And while I was bundled up in my winter coat, with wool hat, etc., Laura and Jeremy brought coats as well that they took off for the photos. And there were a ton of photos. Edwards Gardens, in Toronto, has a lot of great locations on its grounds. It still had a few places with brilliant autumn colours. I had an absolute blast doing my job here with this great couple. They listened to all my suggestions and happily posed in various spots around Edwards Gardens. Engagement photography is a great way for a couple to become comfortable and familiar with their wedding photographer. After spending a couple of hours with them I can honestly say they are one of the most caring, fun and down-to-earth people you can meet. I hope the photos here can tell their story and you can glimpse a little of what I said about them. I’m looking forward to photographing their wedding in February.
